The 2025 GDUSA Digital Awards Are Out

Recently, I had the privilege of serving as a panelist for a mock-interview session with the University of Minnesota’s School of Design Mentorship Program. Towards the end, a student asked, “What do you enjoy most about your work?” My answer was immediate: “seeing the work in the wild.” There’s an undeniable satisfaction in knowing your team’s creations are out there, reaching and impacting people.
As creatives, we’re also advocates for the work itself, championing the best from our teams, peers, and industry colleagues. This is how trends emerge, evolve, and how we collectively grow. For this reason, I’ve always championed entering our work into competitions. Recognition provides invaluable validation for both our clients and our teams, and it’s also a powerful way to attract future partnerships.
This year, the Greater Thought team submitted five projects to the GDUSA (Graphic Design USA Magazine) Digital Design Awards. Out of over 3,000 entries across various categories, only 300 received honors, and we were fortunate enough to win three.
